Dinner @ Grill'd, Perth City

Hello all! I have been slack with blogging I know.. I feel bad every time i think about it but I have no choice.. !! I was busy!! Forgiveeeee meee pleaseeeeeeeee...

I have so many food places to blog about, so many cake creations and parties as well to blog about but I just didn't have time.. I wish there are 4 of me running around, so one can be blogging, second one can enjoy eating, third one make cakes and fourth one (which is the original me) can sit back and relaxxxxx... :)

Anyway, few weeks ago, I got contacted by the representative from Grill'd to inform me about a few new Grill'd opening up around the city and Scarborough Beach!

I have always looking for new places to go, and this is one of the place that I wanted to check it out. The Brookfield Place in Perth City. 

Brookfield Place is a new era if business and culture in the city, where you can get gourmet lunches, New York Style Deli and Grill, coffee and of course, all the new restaurants and bars - The Heritage, Trustee, Print Hall and my favourite burger place Grill'd!

When I first got there, my friend and I were kinda surprised to see this new place! It was like.. a different part of Perth!

We had a peep at the Print Hall (it hasn't open that time)

Then we found Grill'd!

I have always loved the settings in Grill'd. It is so picnic-y! I love picnics :D

I have been to Grill'd countless times (usually the one in Mount Lawley and Claremont), and now they are opened in the city, I think I can haz burgers and the delicious chips anytime I want! :D

Piggy Family Cake

This is one of the cake that makes me feel warmth and put a smile on my face when I look at it.  :)

I have to admit when I was putting the piggies together on the picnic mat along with the food, my heart tingles and I can feel my lips and cheeks lifting up automatically.. It is the feeling that makes me fell in love with cake decorating. 

Creating something magical and putting smile on people's faces. It is the best feeling.

My customer that requested for this cake is such a sweet girl, she contacted me and ask me to create a piggy family cake for her husband who will be celebrating the last twenties before going to the number big three o ~ 

They just had a baby and she wanted his day to be special. This is the cake that we come out with..

A cake that is made into a house and Mama piggy, Papa piggy and little piggy having a sweet picnic together. 

I am missing this cake a lot because it is the cutest!

I wonder how they feel when they are cutting the cake hehe...

 I hope they loved it and enjoyed every bite of it.  :)

Cakes for my workmates

The birthday girl workmate is crazy in love with Bob Dylan. I have no idea who he is until my workmate brainwash me with tons of photos and videos of him. LOL 

He is quite good looking hahaha he got this cool look.. and his eyes are quite mesmerizing hahaha

So, she is a hardcore Bob Dylan fan, so she asked if I can make a Bob Dylan Cake for her! 

Honestly a little afraid of making him.. turns him into a cartoon style Bob is kinda hard! haha But I gave it a try and here it is!

I'm glad that she liked it. She absolutely speechless looking at Little Bob. hahaha

Made a little birthday feast for her at work right next to her desk! So she can eat them all day~ kidding haha

 The other cake that I did is a farewell cake.

It's a gift from Jen to Mel. Jen asked me to make a kiwi for her because Mel is from New Zealand. 

Mel is a girl who absolutely loves alcohol.. she knows everything about it. Anything! it's scary :P

So I made a girly kiwi hiding a bottle behind!

and it says.. I love alcohol. haha

I'm so happy to see happy faces when they received the cakes.. It is the happiest moment for me.
Now.. time for bed! Have a good week ahead everyone!
