Fuku's Dinner Soft Opening @ Mosman Park

I was lucky enough to be invited to Fuku's soft opening. I brought Joe with me to experience this exclusive meal.

It is a 20 people seating Omakase/Teppanyaki. Only takes internet bookings. A lot of SAKE.

There are more in the basement.... 0_0"

That night, I was lucky enough to try one of the best Sake (most expensive in Fuku) generously shared by one of the other customers at the soft opening.

The Sake is so smooth... it is apparently a pure rice sake.
Normally I will go wow that's strong! But I had a sip of this, and I didn't say that!
How expensive?
Here is the sake list. Just look for the biggest number! :D
Don't forget.. the bottle is HUGE ~ 1.8L!! In fact, all of them are 1.8L bottles.

Anyway, these were the items on the Teppanyaki menu that night. Degustation style.

Sashimi @ Sushi
Toro, salmon, anago, sashimi- Tuna, Salmon and Kajiki

Small Morsels
Tsubugai and Octopus, Lobster meat and avocado

Quail twice cooked with pomegranate sauce
Quail is from Hunter Valley, the largest of its kind. According to the chef, it was confit for 24 hours and grilled using specially imported Japanese charcoal.

Japanese scallop and Jumbo Prawn with uni butter.
Best prawn head!! yum!!

Chef torching our fish!

Kajiki (Swrdfish) and Daikon radish
This is a very well balanced dish. Both Joe and I thought that this dish is tasty and refreshing.

Fried Rice

Palette cleanser juicy tomato.

Wagyu sirlion steak Mayura Station grade 7
Yumm.

Dessert. Genmaicha pannacotta, japanese Baumkuchen and mountain peach with kinako.
Absolutely love the dessert. it is delicate and light.

What I love about this place.
The well though chair. When you are hungry, straight, when you need to stretch after a yummy meal, the chair will help you haha

Another thing that I love...
The ladies toilet.

Buttons buttons!!! lots of buttons for the toilet seat!
They can wash your bum, dry and... massage~~~~ So cool!

See the water drops on the wall? Somebody have been playing with the buttons!!!

The seat is heated too~~~ I want one!
